Family & cosmetic dentistry · Delray Beach
The calmest room in the building. Nothing happens until you say so.
Unhurried appointments, prices told before anything starts, and two dentists who explain things in plain words. Most new patients are seen within the week.
The comfort menu
Order anything. It's all on us.
About one in three of our patients arrived nervous. None of this is unusual to ask for, and you never have to explain why.

I hadn't been to a dentist in nine years. They booked me a visit where nobody touched my teeth — we just talked. I went back two weeks later for the cleaning and it was fine. Actually fine.
The estimate was $1,250 for the crown and the bill was $1,250. That shouldn't be remarkable, but here we are.
My six-year-old asked when she gets to go back. I have never said that sentence about anything medical.
Dr. Ortega showed me the wax model of my veneers before starting and changed the shape twice without a sigh. They look like my teeth, only on a good day.

The dentists
Two dentists, one slow schedule.
Dr. Inés Calloway, DMD, opened Fernlight in 2014 after a decade in a practice that booked patients every twenty minutes. Here, the shortest appointment is thirty. Dr. Mateo Ortega, DDS, joined in 2019 and looks after most of our cosmetic and implant work.
We see about half as many people a day as a typical office. That's the whole idea: time to explain, time to stop, time to get it right.
